Steve Malec grew up in the small town of Foster, Rhode Island, where he spent countless hours practicing guitar and honing his craft. Drawing early inspiration from the sounds of Neil Young, The Rolling Stones and Bob Seger - to name a few- Steve developed a love for both the subtlety of folk rock and the raw energy of classic rock. His musical journey was shaped by the sounds of rock and roll from the 70s and 80s, and these influences continue to fuel his passion for performing and creating.
Now based in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Steve blends the soul of country with the power of rock in his band's live shows, delivering a sound that’s uniquely his own. Drawing inspiration from legends like Tom Petty, the Eagles, and Eric Clapton, his guitar work is both expressive and gritty, paired with vocals that bring heart and honesty to every performance.
Recognized for his talent and dedication to the craft, Steve was featured in the Boston Globe—a testament to his growing presence in the music world. Whether he’s playing on the NASCAR Trackside Live stage, at private corporate events, or an intimate local venue, Steve delivers a sound that’s timeless, powerful, and real.
Steve currently plays music around the state of Arkansas as well as his home state of Rhode Island and serves as Director of Finance at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Mike Lovelady
drums
Recognized by the Arkansas Drummers Hall of Fame in 2022, Mike Lovelady- originally from Hot Springs, AR- studied drumming with Syd Mullins and attended ATU in Russellville. In Nashville, he worked as a studio drummer on over 200 albums, collaborating with artists like Oreo Blue and Crawford & West.
Mike spent 3 years as a session drummer in Fort Smith, AR, for Omega Sound- makers of Star Trax, one of the nation's top accompaniment track producers, including one session for then-unknown artist Carrie Underwood.
Currently, he is the musical director at Piney Grove church in Hempwallace, Arkansas, and performs regularly in different venues around the Hot Springs area.
Shannon sabbatini
bass guitar
Born in Leland, Mississippi, Shannon Sabbatini would eventually move during his high school years to Hot Springs, Arkansas. It was there in the 'Spa City' that Sabbatini first picked up a bass guitar. While living in Hot Springs, he played in several local bands around the area and would soon make the move to the Nashville, Tennessee area.
While in Nashville, Shannon majored in the Recording Industry Management Program at Middle Tennessee State University, and was an active blues jam host across numerous venues in the area.
In 2009, Shannon relocated back to Hot Springs and has become a prolific member of the music community in Central Arkansas.
